I enhanced the street access for pedestrians and made the building ADA compliant. The overhand acts as a canopy to cover the entrance as well as providing shade to the building during the closing hours of the day.

Mission Statement: To create a space that integrates contemporary functions within a historic context and to maintain the historical integrity of the facade.
I propose working within an existing block as a way of addressing the problems of the abandonment of an open space. It will form an extension to the existing network of Haymarket buildings.
Accessible to Everyone: This open market is a place that is accessible to everyone. A sequence of spaces which can be interpreted in different ways. This building is set up to enable interaction of it's different parts and it is a result of the combination of pieces.
